Another very popular tour, second only to Arches. We have the opportunity to cover both parks in-depth with plenty of opportunities for night photography as well as some great animal activity. This trip has it all, from landscapes to wildlife, and even some bird opportunities. The cost is $2,795 and includes lodging (based on double occupancy) and transportation after your arrival in Jackson Hole airport. Cape Cod

Come join me for this special weekend workshop exploring the beauty of outer Cape Cod. There is simply no better time of year to photograph on Cape Cod. The bugs and the crowds are gone and the weather is cool, but not cold. The marshes are simply gorgeous as they prepare to go dormant for the winter.

You can see more information here on my blog post and a laptop is recommended for the workshop but not required. Betty Wiley will not be able to assist me this year and that is why the limit is 8. The cost of this weekend workshop is $800. If you have a place to stay and don’t need the room, take $200 off the cost. Transportation is not included in this workshop but after your arrival at the hotel, we will try to arrange carpooling to the shoots as parking is limited in some of the locations.

November 29th – December 8th, 2013
Zion/Bryce/Valley of Fire
Departure Point: Las Vegas airport. Fly out on the morning/afternoon of the 13th.

This mostly landscape tour will cover Zion and Bryce national park in depth with a day and night shoot planned for Valley of Fire State Park outside of Las Vegas as well. The cost is $2,895 and covers lodging (based on double occupancy) and transportation after your arrival in Las Vegas. Limited to 4 participants.

January 23rd – February 2nd, 2014
Arches/Monument Valley/Canyonlands
Departure Point: Salt Lake City airport. Fly out on the morning of the 2nd.

This is my longer trip that will focus mainly on night photography!  We will cover Arches NP, Canyonlands NP Islands in the Sky district, Monument Valley, and the slot canyons if weather permits. We will have a private guide in Monument Valley and have many opportunities for night photography inside the park. The cost is $3,295 and covers lodging (based on double occupancy) and transportation after your arrival in Salt Lake City. Limited to 4 participants.

West Coast Florida Birds

Come join me on these new 3 full day instructional workshops!  These workshops will include 2 private charter sessions to photograph Roseate Spoonbills.  We will also be visiting other hot spots,  including rookeries, to photograph the numerous other birds including egrets, herons, ibis, pelicans, osprey, and more.  This short workshop will focus on birds in flight and other action images.  The cost for these 3 full days is $1,099 and is limited to 4 participants. How many other tours can say that?!!!  ***New for these workshop only***  Transportation (car) or accommodations are not included.  If you compare, you will see that I am still more affordable than other instructional workshops and take less people!!!  This workshop will start in the Tampa area with the specific locations given once your deposit is received.

Secret Location (NJ/PA) Night Shoot!!!

Come join me on this exciting new workshop timed to coincide with the best possible moon phase. Many people claim to do night photography, but I have proven my techniques with my clients and I challenge you to compare my work with theirs!  If you truly want to learn night photography, learn from the best!  My easy to understand techniques will allow you to put what you learn on this workshop to use in the field quickly and easily.  The cost of this in the field 3+ hour hands on workshop is $250 for one day.  I have listed 3 possible dates for the shoot and will choose one of the dates based on the weather to give you the best opportunity and allow maximum flexibility for the unpredictable weather!   You will be given the exact date on Feb. 22nd.  Only instruction is included in this workshop and is limited to 8 people.

West Coast Florida Birding
Departure Point: Fort Myers airport. Fly out afternoon of 25th or the 6th.

Come join me down in southwest Florida as we cover all the bird hot spots of the area as well some lesser known areas. On this tour we will be focusing on bird portraits as well as birds in flight where I will share with you my tips and techniques in a small group environment. We will also have 2 days of private boat charter (weather permitting) to photograph Roseate Spoonbills! Unlike other tours to the area, I don’t leave you with an assistant to instruct you. My price includes lodging (based on double occupancy) and transportation after your arrival in Ft. Myers. Iceland  Departure Point: Keflavik airport

Come join me for this exciting tour of this magical location!  The first tour sold out quickly so I have added another tour immediately after which is only 1 day shorter than the first tour.  We will be photographing stunning waterfalls, lush flowery landscapes, historic churches, barns, horses, oystercatchers, puffin, and more!  Iceland is truly a landscapers paradise!!!  At this time of year, Sunset is around midnight with sunrise following shortly after around 2am!  We will be out for both those times so just be prepared to alter your sleep schedule! We will have plenty of time to sleep during the day and I will move the group when the light is at its worst.  Unlike other tours, we will not be covering the entire country and I will limit the number of moves we have to make with our luggage.  It’s a big country and we will focus on southern locations to insure you get the best possible images.  Remember…..this is a photography tour and not a road trip!  The cost for this tour is $6,400 and includes your breakfasts but not your other meals.  Your flight to Iceland is also not included in the cost.
